Calls Wharf is the flagship office building in the Bracken Business Centres portfolio and has been since its acquisition by Bracken in 2008. Before becoming the stylish office building you see today, it was once a grain warehouse. The sympathetic renovations and refurbishment have retained the majority of the building’s original features including beautiful brick work and vaulted ceilings.
A Spot Of Geography
Calls Wharf is just 5 minutes’ walk from Leeds Train Station and sits in the heart of one of the city’s trendiest areas, on the banks of the River Aire. The area is famed for its lively atmosphere and great combination of independent bars, restaurants, boutique hotels and of course, shops.
This cosmopolitan mix of local establishments is just one reason why Calls Wharf is the perfect place to work though. The fantastic transport connections and road links also mean it’s highly accessible for both staff and clients and with nearby hotels in the area as well, it’s great for business travellers too.
And it has to be said that such a beautiful riverside location really comes into its own during the summer months, when the breeze off the water creates a cool, relaxed working environment and the nearby bars offer the perfect back drop for a working lunch, a spot of networking or some quality team time together outside of the office.
A Few Friendly Faces
Anyone working at Calls Wharf will know the friendly front of house team well, especially Kelly and Debs. Kelly is one of the buildings biggest fans and she also champions the great community feeling that exists at Calls Wharf. It has to be said that the almost legendary Christmas parties probably have quite a lot to do with that sense of comradery and fun. Debs is a founding member of the Bracken Business Centres team so it’s no surprise that she knows the entire portfolio, but Calls Wharf especially, like the back of her hand so she can always be relied upon to keep everything running smoothly (when she’s back from maternity leave that is!)
Available Spaces
It should come as no surprise that Calls Wharf is a highly sought after office location and unusually we have two office suites currently available. One of these offices is Suite 17 which is one of only two offices at Calls Wharf with windows on two elevations making it extra light, bright and airy.
It also benefits from a quiet location at the end of a corridor, comfortably accommodating 8 desks but with a capacity for 10 workstations, this is a super office for a small to medium sized business. If this sounds like it would be perfect for you, then please contact Denise on 0113 237 2700
